These brilliantly arranged pieces take their inspiration from traditional Christmas carols from nine different European countries. For example Fröhliche Weihnachten is based on Silent Night, Holy Night (Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht), Joyeux Noël on the French La marche des rois and Buon Natale on Santa Lucia. In Violin Rascals series the notation is conventional black-and-white.
