Violin Rascals 4 by László Rossa: violin part for easy Colourstrings concert pieces (revised edition). These brilliantly arranged pieces provide the young pupil a taste of real concert music, while the capacity to recognise notes on the stave and find the appropriate conncection with their position on the fingerboard developes. Based on popular folk and children's songs from England, Scotland, France, Hungary and Finland, each arrangement starts and closes with the tonice of the unaltered diatonic scales used in the piece. The pieces are named accordingly: "A", "B/H", "C" and so on.

There are small cadenzas included, based solely on the tonic of the each piece. Candenzas can be used as basis for the pupil's own improvisations.

In Violin /Cello Rascals series the notation is conventional black-and-white.
